With its bouncy beat and sensual lyrics, the song just makes you want to twerk – or something. He and self-proclaimed Hollywood sadcore princess Lana Del Ray work surprisingly well together, both with their skewed and somewhat terrifying views of relationships. Just when we thought we couldn’t love/hate you even more. Million Dollar Gold Digger – Lana Del Rey vs. Hands down, this is my go-to song when people ask what the strangest thing in my music library is (because I know they wouldn’t be able to handle the really obscure stuff, and this song is guaranteed to make their jaws drop). YouTube artist Isosine rose to fame with this pop-screamo jam in 2011, and it remains just as fun to listen to today. If there was ever a song to make Beliebers and goth teens agree that something was sacrilegious, it would probably be this. You may dislike the individual songs, but together it’s an earworm, indeed. This summer’s collaboration includes songs such as “Blurred Lines”, “Heart Attack”, “I Love It” and “Can’t Hold Us”. Jordan Roseman has been making a name for himself as DJ Earworm since the early 2000s when he started taking the year’s top 25 hits and combining them into some darn catchy tunes. How do you indie-fy the mainstream? Mush it all together into a way the masses haven’t heard it.
